We're happy to have you visit Flotilla 22's Web site. The Coast Guard Auxiliary is the civilian volunteer arm of the United States Coast Guard. It is made up of 34,000 men and women who donate their time and expertise to support the Coast Guard and improve recreational boating safety. Please enjoy your visit and check out our site.

The Purpose of the Auxiliary (Title 14 U.S.C. 822) is to assist the Coast Guard by:

  • Promoting safety and to effect search and rescues on and over the high seas and on navigable waters.
  • Promoting efficiency in the operation of motorboats and yachts.
  • Fostering a wider knowledge of, and better compliance with, the laws, rules, and regulations governing the operation of motorboats and yachts through safe boating classes.
  • Facilitating other operations of the Coast Guard.

Flotilla Meetings: Flotilla 22 meets monthly on the third Saturday of the month. Guests are welcome to attend

Next Flotilla 22 Meeting: 

 20 February 2010 (1000) - Roberts School and Community Center, Acworth, GA.

Next Division 2 Meeting: 

 17 April 2010 - The Ridges Resort and Marina, Hiawassee, Georgia. The Flotilla 23 Chartering Ceremony will also take place at this meeting following lunch.
